Job summary

Air Transport Services Group is seeking a Line Maintenance Representative in Haslet, TX to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and line maintenance on aircraft and related equipment in accordance with manuals and FAA regulations. The role includes traveling for station coverage, training new team members, and maintaining station manuals, parts, and tooling inventory.

The position requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and line maintenance on aircraft and related equipment.
• Travel for station coverage and inspections; on-call as needed.
• Train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc.
• Maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory.
• De-ice aircraft and assist with QA audits and property/environment issues.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Overview

The Line Maintenance Representative will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. Key duties include communicating with all departments within the company, traveling for station coverage, training and other maintenance support, and working outside in all types of weather. This role requires on-call availability as needed, assisting Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues, and maintaining station manuals, parts and tooling inventory. Additional responsibilities include aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, MXI work, traveling regionally to verify stations will pass FAA and QA audits, and training new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to successfully pass an MVR background check
• A&P License
• 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems
• Aircraft systems and technical knowledge, concentrating on aircraft type at the station applying for
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good interpersonal skills, communication (written and verbal)
• Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism, and leadership
• Ability to travel on company aircraft as required
• Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces
• Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
• Wear respirator/safety protective equipment as indicated

• Ability to obtain SIDA Badge (Federally required background to obtain access to airports, aircraft, and air cargo)

Preferred Skills

• 4 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
