City of Norfolk is seeking a Total Absence Management Analyst to administer the city’s absence, disability, and workers’ compensation programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as SME to HR, employees, managers, and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data reporting, vendor management, policy guidance, and coordination of ADA, FMLA, and return-to-work processes, with a focus on confidentiality and public service.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in absence management or related HR field.
• Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and workers’ compensation.
• Experience with vendor management and data reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure program compliance with ADA, FMLA, and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Manage self-funded Workers’ Compensation and disability programs with vendors.
• Coordinate absence management and return-to-work processes.
• Develop policies and training materials for absence management.
• Perform data reporting and analytics across absence and disability lines.
• Represent the City in hearings and stakeholder meetings.
