People Source OKC is hiring an ABS Checker in Oklahoma City to account for, track, and verify materials produced in a steel manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and accuracy, with daily responsibilities in documenting production and materials carried through shipping.

You will learn the ASI computer program, verify shipments, and maintain records while collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify materials loaded onto trucks for shipment.
• Learn and use the ASI computer program to create trucks and bundle materials.
• Troubleshoot and locate missing materials.
• Track materials with camera systems throughout production.
• Verify galvanized materials before and after shipment.
• Assist other departments with tracking completed production.
• Investigate discrepancies and determine the cause of missing materials.
• Maintain accurate material and production records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

NOW HIRING: ABS CheckerLocation: Oklahoma City, OK Pay: $15.00/hour Schedule: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time

Position OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an ABS Checker to account for, track, and verify materials produced in a steel manufacturing environment.This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using computers, and able to keep accurate records of materials throughout the production and shipping process.

Job Responsibilities

• Verify materials loaded onto trucks for shipment to customers
• Learn and use the ASI computer program to create trucks and bundle materials
• Troubleshoot and locate missing materials
• Use camera systems to track materials throughout production
• Verify galvanized materials before and after shipment to the galvanizing plant
• Assist other departments with tracking completed production
• Help investigate discrepancies and determine the cause of missing materials
• Maintain accurate material and production records
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• No specific education or previous experience required
• Manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, shipping, or material-tracking experience is a plus
• Must be willing to learn the required computer programs and processes

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, sit, and/or stand for extended periods
• Must be able to perform physical duties throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
