Job summary

People Source OKC is seeking an assembler/tester II to join our Oklahoma City manufacturing team. You will assemble valves and related components, test and calibrate to specifications, and prepare products for shipment.

This role supports quality control and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing, can read technical instructions, and works accurately with basic math and tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves and mechanical components using hand and power tools.

Position Overview

People Source OKC is hiring an experienced Assembler/Tester II for a valve manufacturing company in Oklahoma City. This position involves assembling, testing, calibrating, repairing, painting, and preparing industrial valves and related components for shipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble valves and mechanical components using hand and power tools


• Test and calibrate valves to meet product specifications


• Identify and repair components that fail testing


• Read and follow work orders and assembly instructions


• Maintain accurate testing, production, and quality records


• Assist with painting and preparing products for shipment


• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing experience preferred


• Experience using hand and power tools


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift


• Must wear required PPE, including hearing and eye protection


• Comfortable working around moving equipment and high-pressure testing systems
