Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Representative to uphold cleanliness and safety across the entire store, inside and out, while creating a welcoming experience for customers.

The role requires attention to sanitation procedures, ability to work around customers, and willingness to perform CSA duties when needed. This is a full-time, on-site position offering opportunities to contribute to store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 18+ age requirement.
• Completion of Company Orientation and safety certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store.
• Maintain supplies for hand wash sinks (paper towels, soap, sanitizer).
• Clean and remove trash around the store including flower beds and yard.
• Follow the chemical program and organize stock in maintenance room.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards per SOPs.
• Assist customers and help locate products.
• Perform duties of Customer Service Assistant when needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Total Store Sanitation Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Sanitation / Maintenance

• Maintains the Store's cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms
• Maintains fulfillment of department hand wash sinks, such as paper towels, soap, sanitizer
• Cleans and picks up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the Store
• Uses H-E-B chemical program and correctly organizes / maintains stock in maintenance room
• Empties and cleans trash receptacles throughout the store and each department
• Ensures food safety and sanitation standards are achieved by following SOPs
• Communicates maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders

Customer Service

• Works with / around customers; attends to their needs
• Assists customers in the location of product
• Performs all duties of Customer Service Assistant (CSA) when needed
