Family Best Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver for an ongoing in-home assignment in Aberdeen, Washington. This role offers a guaranteed Saturday schedule from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM and weekly six hours, plus opportunities for additional weekday shifts as needed.

You will provide personal care, prepare meals, assist with mobility, reminders for medications, light housekeeping, and companionship, while following the care plan and documenting services for the office.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State HCA certification or NAC/CNA credential.
• Current TB test or screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Washington Food Worker Card.
• Valid government-issued photo identification.
• Reliable transportation to Aberdeen, WA.
• Reliable phone access for work communication.
• Available to work Saturdays 11:30 AM–5:30 PM.
• Willingness to accept additional weekday shifts when available.
• Strong communication and dependability.
• Ability to complete onboarding documentation if selected.

Caregiver – Ongoing Saturdays & Additional On-Call Opportunities

Location: Aberdeen, WA

Family Best Care is hiring a reliable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver for an ongoing in-home care assignment in Aberdeen, Washington.

This position offers a consistent Saturday schedule, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts Monday through Friday as needed.

We are looking for a dependable caregiver who is committed to providing quality one-on-one care, maintaining consistent communication, and building a positive, supportive relationship with the client.

This role is ideal for caregivers seeking a reliable part-time schedule with the flexibility to accept additional hours when coverage needs arise.

Schedule

Guaranteed Ongoing Schedule:

• Saturday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• 6 scheduled hours per week

• Ongoing weekly assignment

Additional On-Call Opportunities:

• Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Additional shifts may become available based on client needs, caregiver absences, or scheduling changes.

• Weekday shifts are not guaranteed and will be offered as needed.

• Applicants who have flexibility to accept additional weekday shifts are strongly encouraged to apply.

Important: Applicants must be available and committed to working the ongoing Saturday schedule. Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this assignment.

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $22.00–$26.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Overtime paid at 1.5x, when applicable.

• Holiday pay for company-recognized holidays, when applicable.

• Health insurance available for caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week, subject to eligibility.

What You Will Do

• Provide compassionate, individualized care in the client's home.

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as outlined in the care plan.

• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.

• Provide medication reminders within the caregiver's authorized scope.

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment.

• Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention as appropriate.

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful client engagement.

• Follow the established care plan and accurately document services provided.

• Communicate client updates, concerns, and scheduling needs to the office promptly.

• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and respect for the client's preferences and routines.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Active Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA) certification OR Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC/CNA) credential.

• Current TB test or screening.

• Current CPR certification.

• Current Washington State Food Worker Card.

• Valid government-issued photo identification.

• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home in Aberdeen, WA.

• Reliable phone access for work-related communication.
