St. Cloud Area School District 742 is seeking an Adult Basic Education instructor at Quarryview Education Center to teach adult English learners.

Required

• Current K-12 teaching license (any subject area), licensure in Adult Basic Education (ABE), or a bachelor's or master's degree in ESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Bilingual Education

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides quality instruction to adult learners in the core content areas as defined by the State of Minnesota, with a primary focus on English language instruction for non-native English speakers. Responsibilities include lesson planning using provided curriculum and supplemental resources, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other instructors, and providing direct instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The instructor also supports students in developing digital literacy and Academic, Career, and Employability Skills (ACES).
