• Texas medical license required or eligible.
• Board certification in relevant transplant surgery.

Responsibilities

• Lead abdominal transplant procedures and mentor the surgical team.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to optimize patient care.
• Educate residents and medical students on-site.
• Maintain high-quality, safe patient care within an award-winning system.

The Opportunity

• 600+ bed, level I trauma and academic facility
• Join our innovative and aggressive abdominal transplant program
• Growing program with 69 kidneys and 7 kidney/pancreases transplants in 2025
• Experience with high-risk donors is highly preferred
• Experience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, liver transplant and pediatric kidney transplant is a plus
• General Surgery resident and medical student education on-site
• Faculty appointment commensurate with experience
