Position Overview
  • Academic abdominal radiology faculty (all ranks/experience levels welcome)
  • Based at University of Maryland Medical Center (Baltimore)
  • Mix of onsite + teleradiology coverage across UMMS sites

Clinical Responsibilities:
  • CT/CTA, MRI, ultrasound, radiographs and fluoroscopy
  • Broad ultrasound practice: Abdomen/pelvis + thyroid, neck, chest, extremities, OB. Perform nonvascular US-guided procedures (including SIS)
  • Work closely with residents and Radiology Assistants (RA)
Schedule & Call
  • Weekday rotation of clinical duties - all daytime shifts.
  • Remote call approximately 1:6–1:7 weeks, which includes daytime weekend coverage. Minimal evening on-call interruptions via pager/phone (strong in-house ER support)
Academic Opportunities
  • Dedicated academic time weekly
  • Engage in: Resident & medical student education. Research (protected time available with funding). Administrative/leadership roles
