The Abdominal Imaging program at the University of Utah is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced CT, MRI, ultrasound (including high-risk OB), fluoroscopy, and image-guided interventional procedures. Clinical services span:
Our team includes 13 faculty members, along with an annual cycle of fellows. The department is recognized globally for its educational publications and offers a robust residency program in Diagnostic Radiology alongside an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship program.
Imaging resources include cutting-edge MRIs, dual-energy CTs, intraoperative MRI, and PET-CT scanners. The department also boasts access to pre-clinical imaging tools such as micro PET-MRI and 7T MRI, supported by the renowned Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research (UCAIR).
