The University of Virginia's Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Abdominal Imaging Radiologist to join a dedicated team. Position Description
The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia seeks a full-time Abdominal Imaging Radiologist. We are looking for candidates to join our team of seven full-time Abdominal Imagers to complement our busy diagnostic and procedural services. Rank and tenure are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging includes ~60 Clinical Faculty, 14 Research Faculty, 40 Residents, and 27 Fellows/Clinical Instructors. The Abdominal Imaging Section has four to five dedicated Fellows and, in addition, Fellows from other services rotate through the Section's clinical service.

Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have an MD or equivalent degree in the field, be eligible for Virginia State Medical Licensure, and be committed to a career in academic radiology. A background or strong interest in research is preferred.
