JOB TITLE:
Preventive Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
- Performs preventative and routine maintenance of abatements equipment, per documented procedures.
- Manages the PM schedule and coordinates activities with tool owners.
- Follows all safety protocols, pre and post maintenance activities.
- Disassembles equipment and pump exhaust lines for cleaning and decontamination.
- Prepares contaminated parts and coordinates cleaning activities.
- Reinstalls cleaned and/or new replacement parts and assemblies.
- Performs system start-up and post maintenance testing.
- Maintains maintenance logs and completes all required documentation.
- Creates, modifies, and updates Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents.
- Performs helium leak checks after on-site repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintains clean work areas, tools, and toolboxes.
Job Requirements
- Ability to support a compressed work schedule, 3 days/4 days per week rotation, 12 hours per day.
- 1-2 years of Mechanical or Electrical experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.
- Effective communication skills with supervisors and managers.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, lift for extended periods, and walk long distances.
- Use of PPE including aprons, face shields, gloves, and respirators, with all PPE and training provided.
- Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
- Minimum high school diploma required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Tasks involve standing, sitting, dexterity, respirator use, confined spaces, walking up to 10 miles daily, talking/hearing, occasional climbing, bending, crawling. Work may involve exposure to moving parts, heights, chemicals, noise, and lifting over 20 pounds. Vision and safety equipment use are required, along with the ability to access various work environments safely.
