Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical FEA Modeler (Abaqus) to join our engineering team onsite in Cupertino, CA. The role focuses on pre-processing, meshing, and running Abaqus simulations to support diverse engineering projects, with NX CAD for geometry prep and familiarity with ANSA/Hypermesh as a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Abaqus CAE experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to report results clearly.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ABAQUS CAE finite element modeling.
• Expert-level knowledge of model preparation, meshing, and boundary conditions.
• Experience importing/exporting geometries with NX CAD.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; visa-valid status.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed finite element models using Abaqus CAE for mechanical, structural, and thermal performance.
• Pre-process and post-process simulations; ensure accurate mesh and model setup.
• Employ best practices to create high-quality mesh models; script for grouping/keywords.
• Troubleshoot modeling issues to improve convergence and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FEA best practices and advancements.
