Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the Tutor Shall: Assist students with instructional and non-instructional tasks.
• Collect data and use student program books; share updates with staff.
• Assist students with preparation of materials and books.
• Assist the teacher with related clerical work.
• Use computers and electronic equipment to fulfill job functions and support remote learning.
• Serve as a role model with positive attitudes, attire, grooming, and work ethic.
• Participate in in-service and workshops; attend required meetings.
• Maintain ethical behavior with students, parents, school staff and outside agencies.
• Protect confidentiality of records and information within legal confines.

Leominster Public Schools is seeking ABA Tutors for our substantially-separate ABA-based classrooms. The candidate should be a quick learner, team player, and effective communicator. We are searching for individuals who have a passion for special education and can connect with students and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four Year Degree preferred.
• Have ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:
