Job summary

AllTheWay ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Massachusetts. The role operates under BCBA supervision to implement individualized ABA treatment plans for children with behavioral challenges.

The BT will help with ADLs, monitor progress, and ensure a safe, supportive therapy environment. The position offers full-time, part-time, and internship options with flexible hours Monday through Friday, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is preferred.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral disorders, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care practices is essential.
• A background in implementing care plans is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve overall functioning.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop care plans that align with client needs and goals.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
