Job summary

Lacuna Autism Services in Henderson, NV is seeking compassionate Behavior Technician Interns to join our ABA team. You will provide one-on-one therapy to children diagnosed with autism, implementing plans created by a BCBA, and collect data to monitor progress.

This role offers extensive training, supervision, and opportunities for growth within ABA, with schedule options Monday to Friday and both full-time and part-time opportunities based on client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred based on position requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while receiving ongoing supervision and feedback.
• Passion for helping children and families reach their goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, feeding, toileting, and daily living skills.
• Collect accurate data during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and clinical team.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
• Support client safety and engagement throughout therapy sessions.
