Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy seeks a part-time RBT/BT to work in families' homes in the Phoenix area. You will deliver one-on-one play-based ABA support to children on the autism spectrum, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence and confidence under BCBA supervision.

You'll join a supportive team, receive training, and work consistent hours with afternoon and evening availability. This role offers meaningful impact and flexible scheduling for students or current professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in educational or caregiving settings.
• ABA experience a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using a data system on your phone or tablet.
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
• Give feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins.

Looking to pick up flexible part-time hours to supplement your current job or school schedule? This could be the perfect fit. We’re hiring behavior technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours.

As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll be working directly in the homes of families, providing 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays. Your job is to help them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence — all through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

You’ll work with the same children consistently, helping them make real progress in their everyday environment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. Every child is unique, and you’ll get the training and support to meet them where they’re at.

What You'll Do:

• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism.)
• ABA experience a plus!
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check

$21 - $26 an hour

Pay rate is dependent on experience
