Job summary

Sunrise ABA in Knoxville, Tennessee is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in client homes and school settings. You will implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA, collecting data and supporting skill development in communication, social, and daily living tasks.

We provide paid training, ongoing clinical support, and opportunities for career advancement. A valid driver's license is required and travel between locations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between client homes and school locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in client homes and school settings throughout Knoxville and surrounding communities.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data during each session and document client progress.
• Communicate observations, progress, and changes in client behavior to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the treatment team to promote consistency across home and school environments.
