Job summary

BK Behavior in Trenton, NJ seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in home or community settings after school hours. No experience required; training through BK Academy.

You will join a supportive clinical team, document session data, collaborate with families, and help clients build independence using evidence-based interventions; part-time with opportunities for advancement in the ABA field.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and desire to help children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and community locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of the clinical team for direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and engage families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• All positions start off part time.
• Encourage taking the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Minimum 6-month commitment required.
• Typical schedule after-school hours with additional hours on weekends.
