Job summary

Children Making Strides is seeking enthusiastic Behavioral Therapists for children with autism, aged 2-9, to provide ABA therapy in home, daycare and clinic settings. You will deliver therapy and draft progress reports for senior health professionals.

Ideal candidates are positive, patient and creative, with a background in ABA or related field preferred but not required; a valid driver's license and active car insurance are needed. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field (or related experience with ABA and/or young children) preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy services to children at their homes or in our clinic, drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.
• Help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
• Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
