AllTheWay ABA seeks a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The BT will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with behavioral challenges.

Choose your own hours, Monday to Friday; weekends available as needed. Pay is $26.00–$28.00 per hour, with benefits including flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, paid training, professional development assistance, referral

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with developmental or behavioral disorders preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care essential.
• Background in implementing care plans advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Monitor and document client progress in medical records in accordance with standards.
• Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with families to develop care plans aligned with client needs and goals.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Behavior Technician (BT) Job Summary:

The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with behavioral challenges.

Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve overall functioning.

• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.

• Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.

• Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop care plans that align with client needs and goals.

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
