Job summary

Apex K Home Care Inc. in Worcester, MA seeks an ABA Therapist to provide 1-to-1 Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism, typically after school hours at home, in the community, or at our center.

You will work under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, build rapport with families, and contribute to individualized skill acquisition plans while receiving ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week, mainly afterschool (3–8 PM).
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required.

Qualifications of an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
• Experience working with children
• Ability to attend an initial orientation
• Timely and organized
• Ability to work independently
• Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations

About the ABA / BT Position:

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location.

Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).
