Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Massachusetts licensure in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade.
• SEI Endorsement or ESL License required.
• Authorized to work in the United States by start date.
• Adherence to Standards of Effective Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Implement district goals aligned with state frameworks and portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement IEP goals; provide progress reports.
• Provide accommodations and develop curriculum for MCAS Alternative Assessment when needed.
• Collaborate with staff to support modifications and student needs.
• Assist students transitioning to adult living services where appropriate.
