Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Hold Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level.
• Hold either ESL License at the appropriate level or SEI Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals and objectives, aligned with state frameworks; familiar with identifying access points for student portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays to ensure understanding and progress in the general curriculum.
• Write and implement goals and objectives in student IEPs and provide timely progress reports on student development.
• Provide accommodations for student learning and testing; develop curricula and collect/analyze student work for MCAS Alternative Assessment.
• Collaborate with school staff to support modifications and assist students transitioning to adult living services where appropriate.
