Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a School Aide for Soaring Heights School in Johnstown, PA. The role supports students ages 5–21 with autism or emotional difficulties, implementing PBSPs and ABA-based plans, collecting data, and assisting staff to create supportive learning environments.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience with children in relevant settings; candidates must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 18 years of age or older; 2+ years’ experience with children in educational, hospital or home settings.

Responsibilities

• Implements and models Positive Behavioral Support Plans and Individual Treatment Plans.
• Supports development of behavioral and emotional skills per PBSP.
• Assists staff with ABA-based interventions and data collection.
• Collects, enters, graphs ABA data for monthly review.
• Assists with arranging environments to meet student needs.
• Creates, copies, grades classroom and student materials.
• Crisis intervention and related documentation.
• Performs personal care tasks as needed.
• Performs other related duties.
