Hopkinton Public School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional w/ABA for Marathon Elementary, Hopkinton, MA. This full-time role begins mid-November 2025, with salary per collective bargaining and experience.

The paraprofessional provides social-emotional, behavioral, and instructional support to students under supervision of BCBA and teachers. Responsibilities include discrete trials, data collection, behavior monitoring, crisis support, and assisting with assessments.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or ParaPro exam is required or equivalent.
• ABA training or experience is required; RBT certification strongly preferred.
• Clear and effective communication with children and adults is essential.
• Experience providing direct assistance to students to manage personal care is required.

Responsibilities

• Support students and classroom teacher based on IEP/504 needs.
• Monitor student behavior per IEP/BIP.
• Provide discrete trial instruction and document outcomes.
• Adapt strategies with guidance from teachers and specialists.
• Record academic, behavioral, and social data to track progress.
• Assist in crisis situations using district safety protocols.
• Provide verbal prompting, redirection and modeling for curriculum access.
• Assist with personal care if needed.
• Assist with student assessments as directed.
