Job summary

Hopkinton Public School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional with ABA at Hopkins Elementary, Hopkinton, MA. You will support students with IEP/504 plans and work closely with teachers, BCBA, and specialists to implement ABA strategies and behavior supports.

Responsibilities include data collection, DTT, behavior monitoring, and assisting with personal care when needed, in collaboration with the classroom team. ESY duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or successful ParaPro exam.
• Clear and effective communication with children and adults.
• Experience assisting students with personal care to improve daily living skills.
• ABA training required; RBT certification strongly preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE licensure in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support students and classroom teachers based on IEP/504 needs.
• Monitor student behavior per IEP and BIP; collect and record data.
• Provide discrete trial instruction and data/graphing where appropriate.
• Adapt assistance with guidance from teachers and specialists.
• Assist in crisis situations using district safety protocols as needed.
• Provide verbal prompting, redirection, and modeling to help students access curriculum.
• Assist with personal care if required.
• Assist with student assessments as directed.
