Job summary

Strides ABA seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy for children with developmental disabilities. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior plans and collecting data to monitor progress.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the clinical team to help each child reach their fullest potential, with morning, afternoon, and evening cases available in New York State.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA principles and data collection.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and supervision.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA confidentiality and child safety guidelines.
• Experience not required beyond training, but passion for helping children is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, community, or daycare settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care and progress.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and families.

Position Overview

• Strides ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician RBTto provide in-home, or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities.
• As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In this role, the Registered Behavior Technician RBTwill implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life.
