Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking a Behavioral Growth & Independence Specialist (RBT) in Harlan, IA to work in clients' homes or community settings. You will deliver one-on-one ABA services under supervision, helping children gain independence and positive behaviors, while recording progress with digital tools.

The ideal candidate holds an RBT certification (or is pursuing) and a high school diploma, with patience, compassion, and a calm demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
