Responsibilities
  • Supervises Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for a caseload of children with autism spectrum disorders, ages 0-22 years old, including management of direct care staff (Behaviour Technicians).
  • Designs and supervises individualized ABA programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, ages 0-22 years old, in natural settings (in-home, community, schools, and center).
  • Schedules and attends regular home visits with caregivers to review the program and provide parent coaching.
  • Ensures clients receive interventions to meet the full extent of services authorized; adjusts staffing of the treatment team as needed.
  • Coordinates visits to overlap with Behavior Technicians to observe sessions and provide coaching and clinical support.
  • Analyzes session data and reviews documents (session notes, lesson plans); updates programs to reflect development and progress toward goals.
  • Assists BCBAs in initial and ongoing assessments to generate treatment plans and assessment reports.
  • Partners with the BCBA to develop and implement Behavior Support Plans as needed.
  • Produces progress reports and treatment plans to meet regulatory and funding requirements; leads staff training for Behavior Technicians.
  • Plans and leads treatment plan review meetings with families; provides parent coaching to support the treatment plan and address implementation challenges.
  • Travel is required; attend staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as requested.
  • Responsible for completing additional job duties as assigned by Manager and achieving position competencies related to role responsibilities.
  • Administrative responsibilities include meeting billable hour requirements, maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation, tracking sessions, assisting with scheduling, maintaining files, and participating in recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to Behavior Technicians and conduct formal performance reviews under BCBA guidance.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and collaborate with BCBA on development or corrective actions.
  • Physical requirements: ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds; manual dexterity to enter data; vision and hearing requirements; ability to drive.
  • Be able to speak clearly; capable of driving a motor vehicle.
  • Program Supervisors develop and oversee clinical programs, supervise Behavior Technicians, and educate caregivers.
  • Provide clinical instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on ABA for children with Autism in home, community, school, and clinic settings.
  • Collect data, assist with parent training, and implement programs developed by a BCBA; ensure billable hours are met.
  • Supervise, train, and support BTs to build rapport with families and conduct effective sessions.
  • Provide coverage for peers during absences and deliver direct therapy if needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with client families and colleagues, including regular updates and documentation.
  • Typical work schedule includes Monday to Friday operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in psychology, childhood development, childhood education, special education, pediatric therapy (physical, occupational, or speech), or a related field; must be enrolled in an ABA master\'s program (BCBA).
  • 2 years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Applied Behavior Analysis knowledge, assessments, and report writing.
  • Driver\'s License (Required); RBT certification preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year in Applied Behavior Analysis (Required); Clinical ABA Supervision preferred.
  • Education: Graduated from an ABA Master\'s Program (Preferred) or actively enrolled in such program with 1 year of programming/supervision experience.
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus.
  • Ability to travel to multiple program service areas; reliable transportation and valid license with adequate insurance and driving record per NIAC standards.

Note

This will be an in-person position with supervisor duties and training responsibilities for Behavior Technicians; no running sessions. Remote components include meetings and report writing outside sessions via telehealth. Overlaps and BT training occur in person.
