Herzing University seeks a part-time Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the design of a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and to progress toward ABAI accreditation. The SME will guide accreditation timelines, review curriculum against ABAI standards, and assist in communications and program governance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in behavior analysis or ABA is required.
• Current BCBA certification with BCBA-D designation in good standing.
• Experience teaching, designing and launching an accredited online ABA program.
• Experience with the ABAI accreditation process as a program director, faculty member, or reviewer.
• Demonstrated skills in curriculum sequencing, assessment and accreditation; licensure alignment.
• Experience designing or overseeing supervised fieldwork or practicum experiences.

Responsabilités

• Accreditation timeline: Propose an accreditation timeline with milestones, dependencies, and required hiring needs (including program director and faculty qualifications).
• Standards crosswalk: Review the proposed curriculum and map it to ABAI standards; provide a gap analysis and recommended revisions.
• Certification and licensure alignment: Document alignment to BACB requirements and state licensure.
• Program communication: Draft internal program materials and review external materials.
• Meetings: Attend scheduled project meetings with the AVP of Curriculum and Assessment and the Department Chair-Behavioral Health.
• Deliverables: Submit deliverables on contract milestones and program structure.
• Confidentiality and AI use: Protect university information; use generative AI per policy.
• Contract: Adhere to SME contract; other duties may be assigned.
