Job summary

Heartland ABA in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Behavioral Growth & Independence Specialist (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community settings, supporting independence and positive behavior. You will collaborate with a clinical team to implement skill-building plans and accurately record session data using electronic devices.

The ideal candidate holds a High school diploma or equivalent, an RBT certification, and demonstrates patience, compassion, and a calm demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification required.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
