Wellesley Public Schools, Hardy Elementary in Wellesley, MA, seeks a Special Education Behavior Technician SY26/27 to support core curriculum delivery, behavior management, and social skills for students with disabilities. The role collaborates with teachers, BCBA, and related staff to implement IEP goals and data-driven progress monitoring.

Required: Bachelor's degree preferred, CORI/SORI and fingerprints, dedication to confidentiality, and ABA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Criminal Record Check (CORI), SORI, and fingerprints required.
• Passion for working with children with disabilities.
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality with families.
• Ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience with ABA, Safety Care; RBT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist delivery of core curriculum and behavior management in TLC/ISS/LAUNCH programs.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators on planning and instruction.
• Modify instructional materials to meet IEP goals under direction of special education staff.
• Monitor student progress using district data collection systems.
• Provide student support in classroom, bathrooms, transitions, and buses.
• Plan meetings for students and provide regular feedback to the team.
• Perform ABA daily and utilize RBT skills.
• Foster socialization and independence for students on IEPs.
