Job summary

Richards Elementary School in Newport, New Hampshire is seeking a Behavior Technician to support students ages 3 to 22 under the supervision of a BCBA. The BT will implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct behavioral support in a school setting to help students achieve educational goals.

Requirements include NH Paraeducator I or II certification or eligibility, BT experience, and strong ABA knowledge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Behavior Intervention & Support: Implement BIPs and ABA techniques as designed by the BCBA.
• Student Support & Instruction: Work with students in classrooms or intervention sessions and reinforce skills.
• Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with teachers, BCBA, and staff; participate in meetings.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain data, notes, and reports per BACB guidelines.
• Professionalism & Ethics: Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
