Job summary

Melmark is seeking an ABA Counselor to provide educational instruction to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in a structured environment. The role assists in developing and implementing individualized programs.

The ideal candidate will handle diverse needs, ensuring supervision and safety. Responsibilities include data collection on behaviors, crisis management, and attending to hygiene needs. The position offers generous paid time off, health benefits, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred; Minimum requirement of 50 college credits.
• A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old.
• Prefer at least one (1) year experience with specialized populations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Level of Supervision (LOS) for assigned individual(s) at all times.
• Implements procedures as written in each individual's Behavior Support Plan.
• Responds appropriately during crisis using approved crisis management techniques.
