Job summary

Melmark is seeking an ABA Counselor-Center Based to provide direct instruction and intervention to young children with emotional, developmental and behavioral needs under BCBA supervision. This position is center and school based.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized teaching plans, collecting data, ensuring safety, and maintaining open communication with parents and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology preferred.
• Coursework in early childhood development or young children with special needs preferred.
• Valid US driver's license and minimum age of 21
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education

• Assist in implementing individualized teaching plans under BCBA supervision
• Ensure safety and adherence to health protocols during sessions

Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders.

Join our team as an ABA Counselor-Center Based, where you'll play a crucial role in providing direct instruction and intervention to young children with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll implement teaching plans tailored to each child's unique requirements, fostering their growth and development during this critical stage of life. This position is center and school based.

• 8/9:30am - 2:00pm (part time 25-29 hours)
• $30-32

ABA Counselor Requirements
