Job summary

NeMCMHA is seeking an ABA Case Manager in Alpena, MI. The role involves providing core case management duties including assessment, service planning, and coordination of services for parents and children with mental health needs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field, Michigan licensure, and at least one year of relevant experience. Strong communication and computer literacy are essential, with a Michigan driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field.
• Must attain the highest level of licensure according to state guidelines.
• 1+ year of mental health experience; ASD experience preferred.
• Lived experience with mental illness or developmental disabilities valued.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Functional computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide core elements of case management: assessment, service plan development, linking/coordination of services, reassessment and monitoring of services.
• Support parenting skills, child development knowledge, positive parent–child interactions, and stress management.
• Provide clinical support services to parents and children with emotional/behavioral problems.
• Monitor referrals to internal or external providers or community resources.
• Coordinate with contracted providers to ensure person-centered services are delivered and progress is reviewed.
• Engage with providers to review graphs, coordinate with families, and monitor progress.
