Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Behavioral Technician to support students with autism under the direction of a BCBA/Behavioral Consultant. You will implement ABA-based programs, guide learning activities, mentor new staff, and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include one-on-one instruction, data collection, and collaboration with the team. Requires a 2-year degree or 48 credits, Ohio RB Technician registration, and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Registered Behavioral Technician per Ohio Psychology Board; must obtain within 120 days of employment.
• Experience leading, teaching, and working with special needs children.
• Autism-related experience preferred; preschool experience and ABA exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction per programs.
• Use ABA techniques to develop skills across areas.
• Reinforce behaviors with positive supports.
• Train and mentor new staff in ABA methods.
• Collect data and document student progress.
• Prepare learning environment and materials; assist with transitions.
• Travel to homes or peer placements as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety.
