Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Behavior Therapist to support children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities in Windsor, Burlington, Colchester, Fairfax, and Winooski. This entry-level role offers hands-on ABA experience with on‑the‑job training and supervision to pursue RBT certification.

Work under BCBA supervision to implement behavior plans, teach essential skills, and collect progress data in clinics, schools, homes, or community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of coursework and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in ABA, education, healthcare, human services, or related fields helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of automobile insurance and a vehicle capable of transporting clients in the back seat.
• Willingness to travel within approximately 45 minutes of Windsor, VT.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior support plans using ABA techniques.
• Teach communication, social, motor, play, cognitive, and self-care skills.
• Support clients with daily living and personal care routines.
• Reduce challenging behaviors through approved intervention strategies.
• Collect data on behavior, progress, and skill development.
• Follow treatment plans, protocols, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with BCBA, teachers, families, and team members.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision.
