Job summary

Ability Builders is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to support data collection, assessments, and program implementation for children with developmental disabilities. You will assist lead therapists, prepare materials, and help train staff and parents in clinical protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, maintaining session records, and ensuring safety during transportation and manipulation of therapeutic activities, with potential lead-therapist duties

Qualifications

• Must have data collection and analysis experience.
• Experience supporting lead therapists and clinical staff.
• Ability to train parents and staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes and create session materials.
• Support implementation of baseline, treatment, and generalization sessions.
• Assist with session setup and clean-up and with staff/parent training.
• Transport and handle clients safely per protocols.
• Provide direct client care following prescribed programs.
• Shadow/co-treat with therapists to meet license requirements.
• Report concerns to the lead therapist.
