Job summary

Connect n Care ABA in Virginia Beach is seeking a motivated Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) to provide ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings. You will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, following BCBA-created plans and collecting session data to track progress.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working as BT or RBT in ABA.
• Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to obtain required certifications and trainings (e.g. First Aid).
• Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check including FBI and child abuse clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community environments.
• Follow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a BCBA.
• Implement behavior plans created by the BCBA.
• Collect data through observation and submit detailed session notes.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers.
