Job summary

Dashi Rivers, part of Kennedy Care, is hiring a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy to children in home and center settings. This role emphasizes compassionate care, data-driven progress tracking, and collaboration with BCBA supervisors.

We offer paid training, support to obtain RBT certification, and clear paths for career growth within ABA therapy. In-person, weekday scheduling with some weekend availability ensures meaningful work in a collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• RBT Certification (Preferred).
• Valid Michigan Driver's License (Required).
• Must pass a background check.
• Experience working with children and/or background in Special Education, Psychology, Mental or Behavioral Health (preferred but not required).
• Energetic, empathetic, and passionate about working with children or adults with special needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be involved in physical floor play including but not limited to bending and reaching.
• Experienced RBTs MUST possess valid RBT credential number on the BACB website.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions as a Behavior Technician in home and center settings
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA as a Behavior Technician
• Track progress and collect session data accurately during ABA therapy sessions
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies as a Behavior Technician to support skill development
• Partner with families and supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA therapy
