Job summary

Powerback is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Technician (RBT) in Nixa, MO to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under supervision. A two-week paid training program will teach ABA techniques and implementation of behavior plans.

Position offers potential for more hours, with a schedule M-F 3-6pm and company benefits for full-time staff. Candidates must be 18+, with a HS Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of child experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.
• Must be 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy under supervision.
• Ensures billing is submitted accurately and documentation supports services.
• Updates availability in the EMR system and communicates with Client Advocate.
• Regularly communicates with Client Advocate and Supervisor.
• Complies with the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.
