Job summary

Verbal Behavior Associates in Poway, CA is seeking a part-time Behavior Interventionist to work 1:1 with children with special needs, supporting communication, self-help, social, and play skills.

You will implement ABA plans designed by BCBAs, tailoring strategies to each client. You’ll track progress through data collection and notes, and participate in ongoing training to strengthen our services.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; must be 18+ years old.
• Willing to take a TB Test and Live Scan background check; provide vaccination proof (MMR and TDap).
• Training schedules include Mon-Fri 3:00-7:30pm & Sat 9:00-4:00pm or Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30pm or online training.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children to support development of communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, tailoring techniques to individual needs.
• Track and share client progress by collecting behavior data and recording clinical notes.
• Attend ongoing development and training to strengthen ABA services.
