Job summary

Compass ABA Therapy is hiring ABA Behavior Technicians/RBTs for daytime, afternoon, and evening shifts in Union County, NJ. The role provides one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in homes or community settings, with supervision by BCBA and opportunities for growth.

Compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, based on experience, on a part-time schedule (15–20 hours/week). Daytime and afternoon/evening slots are available across Plainfield and Elizabeth, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete onboarding requirements.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adventure Guide: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout: Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer: Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion: Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain: Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass: Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator: Participate in supervision and growth as a ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.

• Location: Union County, NJ

• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT

• Compensation: $20–30/hr (based on experience)

• Type: Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week)

• Shifts: Daytime/ Afternoons/Evenings (3–4 hrs/day, vary by client)
  

Daytime Schedules:

• Plainfield, NJ: M- F: 8AM- 12PM

• Elizabeth, NJ: Tues- Fri: 9AM- 2PM

Afternoon Schedules:

• Elizabeth, NJ: M- F: 4- 7PM
  

About Compass ABA:

• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.

• Help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills.

• Work in homes or community settings.
