Job summary

ABA Pathways is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to work directly with children and teens with autism across clinic, home, and community settings. You will implement evidence-based plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with a supportive team to help each child achieve important life skills.

No prior experience is required as paid training will qualify you to become a Behavior Technician while you develop confidence and career growth within our organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• RBT certification or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Use positive reinforcement and play-based teaching to help children learn new skills.
• Collect and track progress data with care and accuracy.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to support each child’s goals.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and teammates.
• Complete session notes and other administrative tasks on time.
