Job summary

Acorn Health seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver high-quality, intensive ABA interventions under BCBA supervision. You will work directly with clients in various settings, collect progress data, and support families to implement plans that promote meaningful, independent child outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and adherence to Florida Level II screening requirements, with comprehensive benefits and pathways for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience working with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to provide therapy (state requirements vary).
• Deliver 1:1 ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Work with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Support parent and caretaker training as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress.
• Communicate with parents, supervisors, and others to inform and improve treatment plans.
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as needed.
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
