Job summary

Grafton Integrated Health Network's Richmond Campus in Midlothian, VA seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA-based services to children and families under BCBA supervision. You will help clients learn new skills in home and community settings.

Ideal candidates have an RBT certification or willing to obtain it within 6 months, plus a background in psychology or related field. We offer extensive training, mentorship, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• RBT certification at hire or within 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services or related field, or an associate degree with child experience, or a high school diploma with child experience.
• Previous work with children with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a BCBA to implement treatment plans based on functional assessment.
• Directly deliver ABA-based behavioral services to children and families.
• Collect progress data, maintain program books, and create teaching materials.
• Document activities for data analysis and billing in a timely manner.
• Schedule meetings with families and BCBA supervision as needed.
• Discuss progress with families and support in-home behavior strategies.
• Participate in trainings and mentor new staff.
