Job summary

The Villages Charter School Autism Center is seeking multiple Behavior Technician (BT) candidates to serve as a first line of behavioral and social/emotional support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The BT will assist in implementing ABA-based interventions and support teachers and staff in a specialized school setting located at the Buffalo Ridge campus.

The role is full-time with a starting hourly wage of $15.50.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of direct experience with children/adolescents with behavioral needs.
• Familiarity with Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom staff with ABA-based interventions.
• Assist with data collection and recording for behavior monitoring.
• Support supervision during 1:1 or small group instruction and during transitions.
• Maintain student records and use technology to enter/graph data.
• Communicate with parents and staff professionally.
