Job summary

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking dependable Behavior Technicians to support children and families through individualized ABA sessions in client homes and community settings, primarily evenings. Training, ongoing professional development, and an incentive program help staff grow within the field.

Pay ranges from $20–$27 per hour, with bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants eligible for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Active automobile insurance with applicant listed as covered driver.
• Current negative TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized, one-on-one ABA services to children.
• Implementing treatment programs and behavior intervention strategies developed by the supervising clinical team.
• Teaching communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Applying evidence-based ABA strategies to promote learning, independence, and skill development.
• Supporting the reduction of behaviors that may interfere with safety, learning, or daily functioning.
• Collecting accurate client data throughout each session.
• Completing required session documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicating effectively with supervising BCBAs and other members of the treatment team.
• Developing positive and professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Following all clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
• Adjusting to individual client needs while maintaining consistency with established treatment plans.
